Hi, my name is
Aletha Moody, and I live on a 10 acre farm in Mayville Michigan. My husband and
I breed and raise Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We show our goats at
professional goat shows and they are registered in 3 registries. This year we
decided to create goat milk soap with the wonderful milk my does produce.
In the near future we will also be offering, goat milk lotions, bath salts,
shampoos, sugar scrubs, body butters.
You may find yourself asking why goat milk soap, well I’m here to answer that
question. Goat milk especially that of the Nigerians is very high in butterfat
content which moisturizes your skin. It is also high in vitamins A, B1, B12, C,
D and K along with essential citric acids, amino acids, fatty acids, enzymes and
other nutrients that nourishes and reenergize your skin, to keep it looking and
feeling younger and healthier. Goat’s milk has 3 times more beta-casein than
cow’s milk. Caseins are easily absorbed into the skin and allow for quick
hydration of dry skin. These vitamins and nutrients act to slow down the
affects of aging and encourage moisture retention and skin elasticity. Goat
milk soap offers a soap that cleanses and moisturizes the skin.
Do you really know what is in a commercial bar of soap and what it really does
to your skin? Commercial suppliers make their soap with harsh chemicals and
detergents and if we can be honest here, half the time we can't even pronounce
half the ingredients listed on their labels let alone know what exactly it is.
In this day and age, we are all concerned about what we put into our bodies,
